Team EIFFEL

2026

Assignment

For my graduation project at Team EIFFEL, I explored how employees could find, understand and manage internal knowledge more efficiently. Within a large organization, information is often spread across different documents, platforms and systems, making it difficult to find the right information when it is needed. The goal of the project was to design a solution that would make internal knowledge more accessible while encouraging employees to keep information organized and up to date.

Result

I developed two complementary concepts: Gustave AI and Vindbaar. Gustave is an AI assistant designed to help employees find and understand internal information through a conversational interface. The concept includes features such as personalized suggestions, document summaries and source citations, allowing users to quickly find relevant information while still being able to verify where it comes from.

Vindbaar takes a different approach by focusing on the organization and quality of documents themselves. The concept explores automatic information recognition, document completeness and gamification to encourage employees to keep their files organized and findable.

Both concepts were developed through user research, literature research, competitor analysis and iterative testing. Throughout the project, I explored how emerging technologies such as AI could be integrated into existing workflows, including a concept for connecting Gustave with Microsoft's ecosystem. The final project resulted in two distinct approaches to improving knowledge management within Team EIFFEL.

Moolaah

2025

Assignment

During my time at Eatcard I was tasked with creating an animation demonstrating how customers can use Moolaah to redeem their rewards step by step. Moolaah is a loyalty app integrated with Eatcard. The goal was to provide a clear and engaging guide for users.

Result

I created an animation demonstrating how customers can use Moolaah to redeem their rewards step by step. All illustrations were made by me, and I incorporated screenshots from the Moolaah app to enhance clarity. To maintain brand identity, I used Moolaah's colors throughout the animation. A combination of text and animation was applied to clearly communicate the process. The video was posted on Moolaah's social media channels to increase user awareness and engagement.

Artis Planetarium

2025

Assignment

The assignment was to design a data-driven story and accompanying visuals about light pollution for the ARTIS Planetarium in Amsterdam. The goal was to highlight Project Donker ARTIS, which aims to create the world's first urban dark reserve by reducing lighting at night. The planetarium dome served as the canvas, providing an opportunity to experiment with innovative techniques for presenting and projecting data visualizations while exploring the natural environment around us.

Result

Our project focused on Amsterdam's development over time. I tried utilizing the planetarium's four-sided structure as a visual framework. To suit the planetarium environment, I used a dark color palette. I created all the drawings myself and animated them using Illustrator and After Effects to tell the story. These were integrated into a three-minute video produced collaboratively with two teammates responsible for data gathering. The project occasionally posed challenges because the dome's spherical shape distorted the visuals. Fortunately, we were able to test our work weekly on the ARTIS Planetarium Dome and were able to use the Amateras Dome Player program at home. This unique experience was both rewarding and highly educational.

Eatcard

2024

Assignment

During my internship at Eatcard I was tasked with redesigning their support website. This site plays a key role in helping customers resolve issues with Eatcard's products and services, offering clear explanations and answers to frequently asked questions. The previous design was outdated and no longer aligned with Eatcard's innovative and forward-thinking identity. My goal was to give the website a fresh look that better reflects the brand's atmosphere and vision, keeping focus on being user-friendly.

Result

The result is a modernized support website that stays true to Eatcard's visual identity. I improved usability and navigation with a clear structure, a search bar, breadcrumbs, and "skip to" sections alongside each article. The content is logically organized, making it easier for users to find what they need. I also designed a responsive mobile version and implemented a dark mode to further enhance accessibility. Additionally, I created missing icons to complete the visual language.

Cuisineco

2023

Assignment

The assignment was to create a digital desktop prototype of a website about products with renewed value for the user. The goal was to express a personal vision on this theme through interaction, color, and composition. The process included research into the products and the communicative function of color, designing six different screen layouts using a grid-based approach and developing a prototype with a filtering function.

Result

For this project, I designed and developed Cuisineco, an online store focused on eco-friendly kitchenware. The goal was to create a shopping experience that reflects sustainability, which I translated visually through a natural colour palette and paper-like textures. I came up with the brand name and designed the logo myself and experimented with colour theory to strengthen the overall brand identity.

The prototype can be found here.
